The AGM show was a great success!

Everyone had a great time with some lovely Castlemilks on show, even the weather was kind. A full report with results is now up on our AGMshow page (see list on left).

Great News!! The RBST has agreed to continue their generous support for the Breeding Programme.

You told us that lack of profitable uses for excess ram lambs is the biggest barrier to increasing the number of ewes you breed from each year, therefore we have applied for and been awarded a grant to do some research and identify/cost the opportunities available for our members. A part of the research will be to prepare case studies where Castlemilk meat, wool, or grazing skills are being successfully marketed NOW so if you have a success story to share we would love to hear from you. You can email us or use the contact us page. If you haven't time to write about it but can chat just send us your number and we will give you a ring.
