We are an active society working with the Rare Breed Survival Trust to protect, increase and promote our rare sheep.This site is intended to provide useful and interesting background information about our breed and also provide a resource for communication between the Society and Members.

The closing date for the 2010 Show and Sale of Traditional Breeds to be held at Melton Mowbray is fast approaching. If you want to enter sheep, paper entries close 30th July and online entries 6th August.

Time to start thinking about this seasons breeding programme
We are already getting enquiries for rams and lamb rams for this autumn so please let us have details of stock you will have available and also any rams required as soon as possible.
AGM Date Announced!
Full details are in the newsletter but please update your diaries now as the AGM will be held 22nd August 2010.
The venue is unchanged as Hillcrest Farm, Coventry Road, Berkswell, nr Coventry, CV7 7AZ. We will gather for tea and biscuits from 10am for a 10.30 start.
The day will include an opportunity to try card grading on a range of sheep and get advice from experienced card graders.
Please bring a packed lunch, though Sheila Cooper's impressive desserts will again be on offer.
The day will end with coffee and cake to fortify you for the journey home, we really look forward to seeing you all on the day.
